Statistics

Stigma prevents 40% of people with anxiety and depression from seeking medical help (CAMH, 2021).

Doing 30 minutes or more of exercise a day for three to five days a week may significantly improve depression or anxiety symptoms. (Mayo Clinic, 2017).

In 2019, there were an estimated 51.5 million adults aged 18 or older in the United States with AMI (any mental illness). This number represented 20.6% of all U.S. adults (NIMH, 2021).
