The mission of the Alpha Lambda chapter is to promote the discipline by elevating the standards, ideals, competence, and ethics of professionally prepared students in Health Education. Members of ESG uphold the ideals of teaching, research, service, and advocacy, both individually and collectively.  The Alpha Lambda Chapter is an award-winning chapter and received the Chapter Excellence Award seven times during the past 11 years, and seven years consecutively (2011, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022).  This is the highest award a chapter can receive and recognizes a year of chapter achievement.
